Last Sat. we had a little cook-out with my MOST FAVORITE mid-wife, who has delivered 2 of my 4 children. Her name is Maribeth, and she ROCKS! It's been a challenge to get together because she's always catching babies, but this night it worked...
Nic Eby, our most favored labor and delivery nurse was also there, along with friends Dave and Orpha Longenecker...Maribeth has delivered 2 of their 3 babes, I think?
So, the pictures aren't great, but we had to post them...it was a fun time. I like to hear all Maribeth's babe stories...I LOVE sitting and listening to all the out of hospital birthing experiences. Life is such a beautiful miracle. How can one not believe in our God, our Father, after experiencing the birth of a child? I wonder...
My little peanut, Calli, is almost one! I know I am behind...I should be pregnant again...(if I were to follow my life pattern, I mean). Don't get nervous...I am not in route to following my pattern. :)

I deliver at home...and plan on being a midwife someday once hubby is out of med school. Just think it is the most amazing thing, experiencing the miracle of birth. I take it you do too! Do they have homebirth midwives prevalent in PA?
