and i sigh.

how is it that my 3 year old

can lay in her bed

for an hour and a half

and NOT fall asleep.

come down stairs

cry. cry. cry.

(because she is so exhausted)

while i ignore her

(because she is so exhausted)

and fall asleep on the bathroom floor
where she then slept

for an hour and a half?

that is just the kind of day that i had today.
